To describe how the largest ever survey of coaches worldwide was conducted. To position Wisconsin results within the wider picture of coaching in the US a whole. To discuss the “ big picture” themes that have emerged


Session Objectives:

To highlight the main issues raised in the global survey

To identify main themes

If possible to discuss Coaching in Wisconsin in context of the coaching in theUS as a whole

Colin Mcilheney is one of the leading research specialists of his generation. Born in North Belfast , Northern Ireland he won the prestigious Thouron Academic scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania . He also was awarded an MSc in Research Methods and Statistics at Jesus College, Oxford.

His first research publication as at the age of 24. He has spoken widely across the globe at many international conferences. He has been the lead researcher on all the ICF global coaching surveys since co-creating the inaugural study in 2005 with the ICF team. He is at the forefront of the current global coaching survey – the largest ever undertaken
