Working through fear can be one of the toughest actions for most individuals. Your memories and emotions are the fuel to your fear. Your self-talk and measuring stick feed your ‘awfulizing.’ In this session you are the client. You stand face to face with your Wall Of Fear, brick by brick. You answer candid questions in route to removing the bricks in your wall. After experiencing your Wall of Fear, as a coach, you are better able to partner with your clients and their fears. This session is of interest to coaches building or refreshing the ICF competencies, or ‘sharpening the saw.’
Participants will explore:
- Understanding the healthy and unhealthy aspects of fear
- Creating awareness and asking powerful questions to help the client sort and identify fear factor(s)
- Face fears and answer fear questions
- Set 1-3 goals and design actions to address the goal(s)
