About this event

The path to becoming an ICF credentialed coach can feel confusing: different levels, different requirements, different acronyms. It’s easy to wonder: Where do I even start?

That’s exactly why we created this quarterly session. If you are interested in what it takes to become credentialed at ACC, PCC, or MCC level this group is for you!

June's Forum focus is "The Coaching Journey: ACC ? PCC ? MCC"
What changes along the way? What do you learn? What surprises you?

Join us for an open conversation with Katie Drescher, MCC, as we explore her path through the ICF credentialing journey — from ACC to PCC to MCC.

Together, we’ll discuss:
• Lessons learned at each stage of development
• How coaching presence and perspective evolve over time
• Challenges, growth moments, and unexpected insights
• Advice for coaches considering their next credentialing step
• What it really means to grow as a coach beyond simply earning a credential

This will not be a formal presentation, but an authentic and interactive conversation with space for questions, reflections, and discussion from the community throughout the session.

Next Quarter: Exploring Changes To The Credentialing Path

As a preview of what’s ahead, next quarter we'll be exploring upcoming ICF credentialing and education changes, with a deeper conversation on those updates planned. To learn more check out this page on the ICF site.

Facilitated by Katie Drescher, MCC and certificated ICF coach mentor and supervisor, and Matt Ley, ACC.

Katie Drescher is an executive coach, coach mentor and supervisor. She helps her clients navigate change and enhance impact by developing trust, clarity, strategy, and actions to meet their goals. Katie’s coaching philosophy is based on awareness that the world is in constant flux. She helps clients find their inner compass, cultivate resilience, and thrive through self-discovery, compassion, and authentic connection. She uses evidenced based coaching tools, solutions and a variety of methodologies including conscious leadership, mindfulness, neuroscience, emotional intelligence and the whole person approach to help clients thrive in today's complex world.

Matt Ley
has been a certified ICF coach for three years and sees this as a continuation of the work he has been doing throughout is circuitous career. He has spent time as a software engineer, communications officer for Lutheran Disaster Response, supporting social justice work in Israel-Palestine, as a pastor, managing supply chain and operations for a global medical supply company, and most recently as a consultant helping growing organizations manage change. Through it all the same desire to be present with people and lead with curiosity as he partners with them to identify and take action on their goals has been his greatest joy.
