Biography
Pat Barone has defied all the odds life stacked against her and lived to tell her tale. After radically changing the direction of her life and losing almost 100 pounds, friends and coworkers began asking for her help. She established Catalyst Coaching® in 2001 after receiving her coach training from one of the largest and oldest coach training programs, The Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
Although she is a recognized expert in the topic of permanent weight loss, she has defied a trend to niche herself and coached hundreds of clients on four continents as they radically changed their lives. Clients have partnered with her for reinvention, health/fitness, business success, creative endeavors, relationships, growth oriented divorce, addiction, leadership and transitions. She helps her clients confront limiting beliefs, know their values and purpose, learn new levels of self-care, and find fulfillment.
Pat believes everything in life starts with self-leadership. Getting in charge of one’s psychology is the first step to success. She has over 10,000 hours of coaching experience, has mentored coaches establishing their businesses and seeking certification, and owns a rare success story: she lost 92 lbs and has maintained her weight loss since the year 2000, radically altering her health and outlook. Only .005% of people who lose weight achieve that level of success.
Pat is a natural cheerleader for coaching and entrepreneurship. She was one of the pioneer coaches in Wisconsin, introducing the process to many companies and leaders, and is often seen as NBC15’s on-air life coach. She had been featured in articles in the Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, Shape, HealthZette Magazine, Huffington Post, Women’s Health and Health Magazine.
